HET Windows

We take quality seriously.

We're proud to have our standards endorsed by the following industry bodies and associations.

When replacing windows, doors and roof lights in a dwelling, homeowners must comply with correct thermal performance and Building Regulations and ensure they get a certificate from a Competernt Person scheme, such as FENSA or Local Authority Building Control.  FENSA enables companies that install replacement windows and doors to self-certify compliance under these Building Regulations without the neeed for a separate assessment from Building Control.

FENSA Registered Businesses must give a guarantee or warranty covering the cost of completing rectification work in respect of defects for a period of ten years.  HET uses GGFI, a repuatable company monitored and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authroruty for this cover which also gives clients peace of mind by indemnifying against any deposit paid (up to 25% of the contract price or £6250 which ever is the lesser).

A FENSA Building Regulations Certificate will be sent directly to you from FENSA to demonstrate compliance.  This is important in the event that you need to sell your home.
